Synopsis
Resident Evil Revelations can be said to be the first game after Resident Evil 4 that attracts fans and series veterans to return to enjoying the classic Resident Evil playing experience. After releasing several RE games that emphasized shooter-action elements, Capcom finally returned to the roots of the series and focused on bringing back the gameplay and feel of survival horror. And at the beginning of 2015, gadget friends will once again have the opportunity to experience the glory of the "original" Resident Evil game through Resident Evil Revelations 2.
Even though it is designed as a sequel, Revelations 2 will present a new story, setting, characters, and even enemies, which reportedly will not have a direct relationship with the first Revelations. Behind this all-new content, Capcom still maintains a similar gameplay system, so this sequel will feel familiar to players who have played the first Revelations. Interestingly, this time gadget friends will not feel lonely. The reason is, gadget friends will play in a team consisting of two characters, namely the favorite character Claire Redfield, and another one who according to information is Barry Burton's daughter, namely Moira Burton.
Claire and Moira have different roles, and players can freely switch between the two. Claire is a veteran character who holds a gun and focuses on combat, while Moira is a moody teenager who prefers to carry a flashlight rather than holding a gun. Claire will be the main line of defense to repel the zombies, but Moira cannot be underestimated either. In the dark and gloomy prison setting, Moira's flashlight is very useful, especially for looking for invisible items in the dark. But apart from lighting up a room, Moira can also focus her flashlight beam so that it can temporarily blind enemies. Moira is also equipped with a crowbar which is not only useful for solving certain puzzles, but can also be used as a melee weapon.
Until now, the story, background, and many details of Revelations 2 are still shrouded in a fog of mystery, but maintaining the game's focus on survival horror nuances can be said to be a very positive step for the continuation of the Resident Evil franchise, and is definitely a special attraction for fans. hardcore. What's more interesting, even though it doesn't look much different from the prequel, Revelations 2 is unique thanks to the use of two characters who share roles simultaneously. Just imagine how this system would be implemented in multiplayer games.
