There are more than 75 types of battleships that players can control in this game. Each battleship has different characteristics, status and weapons equipment, for example some battleships can move faster than others, or certain battleships can use torpedoes as one of their main weapons. Gadget friends can also control a Carrier type boat which doesn't have many weapons, but can coordinate strategy and manage the team's movements against enemy troops.
Just like other Wargaming games, Gadget Friends can customize each battleship from its appearance to the weapons it uses. The most interesting thing about World of Warships is the detail of each boat, each of which has more than 500 different parts, from gun turrets to engine parts, even the details of the deck and rudder of different boats. Every part of this boat can be shot and take damage dynamically. For example, a shot that damages a turret can make the battleship unable to attack for a certain duration of the game. Or when enemy planes come to attack, Gadget Friends can attack the deck of the enemy's boat so that the planes cannot land again.
The fighting mechanism in this game really prioritizes realism. Things such as visibility, wind direction, and ship load will affect the fighting ability of each battleship. This, combined with the tactics and strategy required, makes World of Warships a complex and very challenging strategy game. Gadget friends can arrange for your troops to use Destroyer type boats to monitor the battlefield, while your main battleship can try to take a suitable position to attack the enemy.
