Just like Arkham City, this game also takes a familiar location in the metropolis of Gotham City with an open-world map setting. Gadget friends can explore the entire city of Gotham by flying around using Batman's coat and Batclaw to hang from the top of one building to the top of another building quickly.
The new story in Arkham Origins begins during the events of Christmas Eve, where Batman himself has been working as a hero in a cape for the last two years. He provides a reward of 50 million dollars for anyone who can kill Batman. This offer certainly attracts the attention of criminal groups who have been targeting Batman for a long time, and 8 antagonist characters appear who are ready to chase the prize and target Batman's movements in Gotham City, including Bane, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Firefly, Shiva, and Copperhead. Every day the Assassins cause crime and chaos in the city to lure Batman's presence. That's why Gadget Buddy's job as Batman this time is to survive attacks from criminals and look for Black Mask so he can stop the race.

The newest Quick Travel system in this game makes the gameplay easier and less boring, this system allows Batman to move around the city quickly using the Batwing plane, so after gadget friends have finished scrambling devices in an area in Gotham, gadget friends can immediately enter Other areas are quite far away, just go to the Batwing Drop Point. Every time Gadget Friends board the Batwing, Gadget Friends will also be presented with a cutscene video cut from the story.
Batman Arkham Origins also has the latest equipment such as the Remote Claw which has claws at both ends. Gadget friends can direct this claw at two target objects, and pull both of them to collide with each other. Plus a pair of Electro-Shock Gloves which are able to maximize attacks from his hands to produce faster combo actions, apart from that, these gloves also function to ward off electric attacks from enemies.
Apart from playing the main story, gadget friends can also take on side missions, such as Crime in Progress where Batman can help the Gotham City Police by rescuing police officers who are being held hostage by criminal gangs. Each side mission that you complete will add XP points which are useful for increasing the level of Batman's equipment, unlocking various new skill trees and abilities, new features such as better armor, and upgrading gadgets to make them more powerful.
