Harry kemudian mengajak Cheryl ke Silent Hill, kota dimana dia dan istrinya biasa menghabiskan liburan bersama. Namun sebelum mereka tiba disana, hal-hal aneh mulai muncul. Seorang polisi bermotor mendahului mereka akan tetapi beberapa saat kemudian mereka melihat motor polisi tersebut tergeletak di pinggir jalan tanpa pengendara. Tak lama setelah itu tiba-tiba seorang anak perempuan muncul ditengah jalan dan membuat Harry kaget. Harry berusaha agar tidak menabrak gadis tersebut namun mobilnya sendiri malah tergelincir keluar dari jalan dan menabrak sesuatu yang membuatnya pingsan. Ketika dia tersadar, Cheryl sudah tidak ada di mobilnya. Ketika ia keluar dari mobil ia sadar bahwa ada sesuatu yang aneh. Synopsis

Seven years ago Harry Mason and his wife went on holiday to Silent Hill. On their way home they found a baby on the side of the road and adopted her as Cheryl. But then his wife died of illness and Harry was left with Cheryl, whom he loved like his own child.

Harry then took Cheryl to Silent Hill, the town where he and his wife used to spend their holidays together. But before they got there, strange things began to appear. A police motorbike preceded them, but a few moments later they saw the police motorbike lying on the side of the road without a driver.

Not long after that, a girl suddenly appeared in the middle of the road and shocked Harry. Harry tried not to hit the girl but his own car slid off the road and hit something that knocked him unconscious. When he woke up, Cheryl was no longer in his car. When he got out of the car he realized that something was strange.
