The ZTE Blade S6 Plus phablet was first introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona along with the 5-inch version, namely the ZTE Blade S6, which was launched in January 2015. The same as the Blade S6, the Blade S6 plus phablet carries an octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset from Qualcomm® and an Adreno 405 image processor.
The ZTE Blade S6 Plus works on the Android Lollipop 5.0 system with ZTE's own customizable interface, namely MiFavor 3.0. The ZTE Blade S6 plus phablet features a larger HD JDI screen with In-Cell technology to support better and more colorful image quality. This phablet is also equipped with a battery capacity of 2400 mAh.
Different from the previous version, the ZTE Blade S6 Plus phablet has an innovative function that allows the device to be used as an infra-red remote control. The ZTE Blade S6 phablet is compatible with all leading brands of home furnishings and electronics. This function allows the phablet to control TVs, set-top boxes, air conditioners, DSLR cameras and other furniture. It's very easy to use so you don't need a different remote control device for some of the furniture.
