The Meizu M5 Note weighs about 12g but has the same size footprint as its predecessor. While the front of the Note M5 remains unchanged, there is a projecting portion between the frame and the back surface of the metal back, which is a change for the better. This minor change in design provides a better grip and fashionable appearance.
The international M5 Note does not come with Google services pre-installed because Meizu is not a recognized Google Services partner. Instead, the phone offers you access to an installer who handles the hassle-free installation for you. Other reviews have noted that these effectively side-loaded Google applications and services deplete the battery more quickly than usual, however we think this behavior is only present in review units, which were shipped with previous pre-production ROM versions. We've had fantastic battery life with the most recent update.
The Meizu M5 Note is a dual-SIM phone, but because it has a hybrid slot, you must decide between using a microSD card or a second SIM card. You can select storage capacities of 16, 32, or even 64 GB; by choosing a larger storage capacity, you won't have to do without a second SIM card.
