The majority of these Active S7 updates take place internally. It has 4GB of RAM, which is an increase of 1GB from last year, and 32GB of internal storage, all driven by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 system-on-chip. The new Active will come pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The S7 Active's camera only has a 12-megapixel resolution as opposed to the S6 and S6 Active's 16-megapixel resolution. However, the Active S7 shares the Galaxy S7's advantage of a so-called dual pixel sensor, which enhances low-light image capture. Once more, the five megapixel front-facing selfie camera is available. The S7 Active's appearance doesn't differ significantly from that of the Active model from the previous year (seen above in black and gold). But in all three, it's slightly bigger.
